About the Author:
Suman Chakraborty was educated at the Universities of Calcutta and Glasgow. His publications include his journal article on Language Poetry, conference paper on Sherlock Holmes fiction and his books, Creative Writing: A Practical Approach (edited) and C.U. English Honours Questions: An Essential Companion (co-edited). A creative writer, scholar and a literary critic, Suman Chakraborty, is an editor of eNotes. He has research interests on American poetry, especially its postmodern experimental genres and pre-modern literature in general. Suman is presently working on his forthcoming book on Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. He is interested in social works and is the Vice President of the Rotaract Club of Calcutta, an associate of the Rotary International.
Ramendranath Datta taught at Asutosh College of the University of Calcutta for more than three decades. As a Selection Grade lecturer and the head of the prestigious English department of the institution he was engaged in teaching a wide range of texts. His predominant research interests focus on Indian English Literature, literary criticism, English poetry. He co-edited C.U. English Honours Questions: An Essential Companion ans is loved and respected by students for his excellent method of teaching and charming personality.
